Ella Whellams

Ella has over 20 years’ experience in event management, planning and delivery in the UK and overseas. Her experience includes managing conferences for up to 500 delegates, as well as senior policy workshops held at the British Embassy in Berlin and the White House in Washington DC.

Ella works closely with key stakeholders, including government departments, research and technology organisations and international organisations, to ensure the smooth delivery of project-related workshops, focus group discussions and training courses. She is responsible for the planning and delivery of high-level events, including the launch of the UK Innovation Report.

Alongside event management, Ella oversees the design and production of reports and promotional materials for the unit, ensuring communications are engaging, professional and aligned with the organisation’s objectives.

Ella previously worked in the Events Team at Kensington Palace.
