Dr Jennifer Castañeda-Navarrete

Senior Policy Analyst, Policy Links, IfM Engage

Jennifer Castañeda-Navarrete is a Policy Analyst at Policy Links, the knowledge exchange unit of the Centre for Science, Technology and Innovation Policy (CSTI), University of Cambridge. Jennifer provides expertise in development economics and innovation policy for the work conducted by Policy Links. She has over 10 years’ experience in policy analysis in developing and developed contexts.

Before joining the Policy Links unit, Jennifer worked in academia and in a regional ministry for industrial development in Mexico. In 2012 Jennifer was awarded the Joan Prats prize for young researchers from the Research Institute Ortega y Gasset for the best paper in public policy. Jennifer holds a PhD in Development Studies from the University of Sussex, UK; an MSc in Economics and Development Economics from the University of Nottingham, UK; and an MA in Government and Public Policy from the Autonomous University of Yucatán, Mexico.
