UK-China workshop on advanced manufacturing (2019)

A workshop in collaboration with the UK Science and Innovation Network (SIN)

Policy Links facilitated a workshop in Hangzhou to explore ways in which the UK and China are approaching the areas of ‘smart’ and ‘green’ manufacturing. These topics had been agreed by BEIS and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). Participants included representatives from academia, government and industry. The workshop was organised alongside colleagues from the National Institute for Innovation Management at Zhejiang University, and the workshop report outputs has informed ongoing policy dialogue between the two countries.
