Women in Manufacturing

Published on September 12th 2022

Jennifer Castañeda Navarrete, Cambridge Industrial Innovation Policy, was awarded an InterAct Early Career Researcher Fellowship grant. The project involved the organisation of a panel discussion and a networking event to raise awareness of gender inequalities in digital manufacturing.

Attendees were invited to contribute their thoughts and opinions on the barriers and opportunities for women in digital manufacturing. The results were then summarised and disseminated in a policy brief.

This project is part of a broader networking initiative: Women in Manufacturing. A network of academics, practitioners and professionals working in the field of manufacturing with a shared interest in raising the profile of women in manufacturing – please get involved if this is of interest to you and your organisation by answering this short questionnaire.
