Supporting industrial innovation and technology adoption in Oman’s manufacturing sector (2019)

Published on September 4th 2019

A report for Oman’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI), on behalf of the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO)

Part of an ongoing collaboration with UNIDO in Oman, this project was aimed at identifying technology and innovation policy initiatives to address priority challenges faced by the Omani industry. In particular, this project sought to define the specifications of specific policy measures (e.g. incentives, institutions and/or programmes) that could be implemented in the short, medium and long-term in Oman, informed by international best practice and justified in terms of their adaptability to the local context.
